Linux traceroute Command

traceroute command is a network troubleshooting utility. Which helps us to determine number of hops and packets traveling path required to reach a destination.

Here : If you don’t have traceroute utility installed in your system, and use the following command to install it.

# sudo apt-get install inetutils-traceroute  

Sample syntax of traceroute command :

# traceroute <destination>  

Like exmaple of traceroute command :

# traceroute example.com  

Please try on your terminal with Linux environment and learn about your traceroute command. Practice more and more then you learn something. Because never practice never learn. Thank you.
